Why Mandalay House Weddings are always AMAZING
There is no other place like Mandalay House for weddings. Australiana landscape meets manicured gardens… it’s ridiculous. Luxurious and stylish, the stone house is great for bridal prep and tucked away amongst the established gardens which have plenty of shade and work so well for wedding photography. There’s a seamless flow to a Mandalay House Wedding with the ceremony leading on to a garden party with drinks and canapes, then the marquee reception. All this taking place in three interconnected but different sections of the magical garden setting, surrounded by rolling countryside which is perfect for escaping the party momentarily for last light photos…

The House and Getting Ready…
The Stone homestead surrounded by beautifully maintained and manicured gardens is both stylish and luxurious. Perfect for bridal party prep, there are great opportunities for both bright and airy outdoor portraits, along with darker, more interesting indoor options.

Ceremony
The ceremonies at Mandalay house are held in a wonderful enclosed garden space which can manage large numbers while still maintaining an intimate feeling. There are good options here for family photos without having to move far, and guests are guided seamlessly through to drinks and canapes nearby.

Reception
All the weddings I’ve photographed at Mandalay House have been held in a Marquee and each one was stunning. The location is next level and allows for various layout options, giving you the ability to personalise your reception. No two weddings have felt the same…

Location photos at Mandalay House
There is sooo much gold for a wedding photographer at Mandalay House. With all the incredible, manicured gardens, you can always find shade on a sunny day. There are seemingly endless white gravel roads at every turn, offering leading lines and reflective light. Then of course, there’s the Australian countryside that surrounds the property. These rolling hills are covered in gorgeous yellow grasses and make for a spectacular backdrop as the sun sets behind them.
